ARTICLE I

Officers:

Officers of the organization shall be:

  1. President
  2. Vice President
  3. Secretary/Treasurer

ARTICLE II

Directors:

Directors of the organization shall be:

  1. President
  2. Vice President
  3. Secretary/Treasurer
  4. 2 At-large elected from the membership

Directors may serve for a maximum of three consecutive one-year terms.

ARTICLE III

Task Forces:

Task Forces will be formed related to specific areas of interest such as:

  1. Education
  2. Legislation/Taxes
  3. Lake Management
  4. Airport and Utilities

Task Forces may be formed or eliminated by the Board of Directors with the approval of the membership.

ARTICLE IV

Governance:

All policies not addressed in these Bylaws must be approved by a simple majority of members at a regular or called meeting. The latest issue of Robert's Rules of Order will be followed during meetings. Persons representing CFBG shall receive approval of the Board of Directors prior to the event. Planned remarks should be presented in writing when asking for approval.

ARTICLE V

Dues:

The annual dues to become a member in good standing will be $25 per household. These are payable on electing to be a member and in January, Thereafter.

ARTICLE VI

Amendments:

These Bylaws may be amended by a simple majority vote of the members present and voting at a meeting called or designated for such purpose. Written proxy votes will be accepted.
